vividid this one back in September at AWA... Which will be the LAST time I ever go to that show. Me and my friends had an awful time and made no money, whatsoever.
This piece actually has a little story with it. I did it on a whim and a couple saw it and asked if I'd sell it. When I was done, I ended up really liking the lines and I was regretting selling it. After they picked it up, I realized there was a kinkos in the hotel connected to the convention center and I wanted a copy to show off. I tracked down the couple and the girlfriend actually gave me static about wanting the piece back and that she'd e-mail me a better, cleaner scan. Rather than follow my gut and tell the bitch to go to hell, I said "I'd just like a copy of it to show off at my table, please." The boyfriend stopped me and agreed to just walk over to the Kinkos for the copy.
By the way, the nice copy she said she'd send me? Bitch never did it... So I had to use the shitty copy from Kinkos to trace to make a new piece.
Hated that con...
